A good time table for JEE preparation

I've been getting numerous requests on 'what will be a good daily time table for effective preparation'.. It's a fact that every JEE aspirant makes at least 70-80 time tables in his preparation years and doesn't follow anyone of them for even a week.. I was also the same. In fact I made more than 150 full time tables (haven't followed any seriously) but have learned something from each one. So all in all I've devised an effective detailed time table for your preparation..
Remember :- If you follow this time table right from the day you read it here till the last day with 100% efficiency, you'll be definitely AIR 1. No kidding! Whenever you miss/skip a day or come down from 100% efficiency, your AIR will deteriorate equally. So keep that in mind.

I'll be categorizing this post in 2 parts,
[i] For those who are regular school going.
[ii] For those who are in dummy school (no attendance required) and droppers.

Organic Chemistry preparation for JEE

If you love chemistry, there's no way if would dislike the organic part.. In organic chemistry, either you are a champ or a novice, there's nothing like intermediate. And if you understand it well, you'll fall in love with it. And that too in the first sight. Actually, it's kinda addictive. (Though it was my weaker part, I did quite okay in exams). Coming to the point- How to actually prepare to pro level of organic chemistry.
See, the GOLDEN rule for organic chemistry is PRACTICE!! You'll start off with the basic concepts of organic, which is a very important chapter. NEVER learn stuff in organic chemistry, instead understand the mechanisms.. Understanding mechanisms is the most crucial part in organic chemistry.

How to make notes for JEE

Making notes while you are preparing for JEE is one of the best (and super beneficial!) habits to adapt.. They can prove to be a rank booster of your JEE result.. Reason being, the last time studies.. No book can help you during your last days of preparation, only your hand made notes can. They are more helpful than you think.. I know it personally! Usually students don't pay much attention in making notes. And mind you, that's a big mistake. In fact, summing up altogether, they help you better than any other book. So, in this post, I'll be discussing how to make effective notes amidst your preparation.

  • By making effective notes, I don't mean all sorts of decoration and colorful work.

Inorganic Chemistry preparation for JEE

(As I have mentioned in my previous posts, it really doesn't matter much which study material you use.. Just decide any one thing wisely, and do it completely.. It's totally useless to compare two random books.. Just pick up any one thing, have faith in it and complete it..)

Normally people are not very serious with inorganic chemistry and it's the biggest mistake of their JEE journey! According to me, it REALLY can be your best friend or your worst enemy.. Believe me! Inorganic chemistry is equally important as any other major topic.. Actually even more.. Because it requires a long preparation time.. So.. Preparation.. Here it is.. Firs of all THERE IS NO SHORTCUT TO PREPARE INORGANIC CHEMISTRY. Yes. That's right. It takes time and constant revision. Never do the mistake of keeping it pending to do later. No!

Algebra preparation for JEE

(As I have mentioned in my previous posts, it really doesn't matter much which study material you use.. Just decide any one thing wisely, and do it completely.. It's totally useless to compare two random books.. Just pick up any one thing, have faith in it and complete it..)

You simply don't start mathematics without algebra. It's everywhere. Math is actually made up of algebra.. You don't master algebra, you cannot excel in mathematics.. I don't need to tell you the importance of algebra.. You very well might be knowing it! Coming straight to the preparation tips-
Like always I said, don't try to move fast and ignore small things.. Remember, they are are the one deciding your caliber.. Spend time in polishing your algebra mathematics. Quadratic equations is what you'll start with and mind you, never take it lightly.. Whole mathematics portion contain it. It's easy but not very much. Algebraic operations with roots is an important thing. Understand it well and learn to apply it. Maximum questions will be on sum, product of roots, no matter how advance it becomes.

Meditation : JEE aspirant's best friend!

I am unable to concentrate for long, I am unable to study because of tension, depression, stress and tiredness, all rubbish thoughts just don't leave my mind, I am having difficulty in grasping concepts and etc etc....
95% of students today are suffering from these kind of psychosomatic (related to thinking) diseases! So this post was to come.. No medicines in the world can cure these disorders, only meditation can.. My mom taught me meditation and now I'll try to help you.. The level and depth of meditation is incredibly high which no science in the world can match.. I am not talking some rubbish.. I am an IITan myself and I don't blindly believe bullsh*t superstitions! So mark my words..
So here it goes... The name is RAJYOGA MEDITATION.. And Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Spiritual University teaches it to you!! FREE OF COST.. Yeah! You hear me right. No money at all. No terms and conditions.. They just want every person on this planet to experience peace..

Mechanics preparation for JEE

(As I have mentioned in my previous posts, it really doesn't matter much which study material you use.. Just decide any one thing wisely, and do it completely.. It's totally useless to compare two random books.. Just pick up any one thing, have faith in it and complete it..)

Half of the student population consider physics analogous to mechanics! Even I did (I still do).. But it's correct also.. Mechanics is to physics is like heart is to body.. Really! So, I'd suggest to prepare mechanics VERY strongly. You have no idea how great it'll be for you being sound in mechanics. Pick out any chapter and you'd find mechanics in that! Anyways, I now hope you understand the importance of mechanics..
So coming to the tips on how to prepare it.. Generally when people start mechanics, they just want to always skip the basic and easy things and want to reach the advanced mechanics portion.. That's just so wrong.. In fact give more time to the first one or two chapters, that is vectors and  motion in one dimension.

JEE preparation for droppers

(First read about the tools and techniques here, then come to this post, otherwise it's of no use)

(I will also discuss whether you should give improvement exam of class 12th or not later in this post!)
This post should be the strongest one from my side, as I, being a dropper myself know what all it takes to make this decision(taking a drop) the best decision of your life! It's gonna be tough, very tough indeed, to be honest! That's why this post.. I'll try to throw light on all the mistakes, carelessness or any unknown blunder that you may commit and be protected.. You'll read about the things you can do to boost up your results, which normally people realize after they have wasted 2-3 months.. So take the most from here guys!
Note that I am assuming you did NOTHING in your 11th and 12th. If you've studied in 11th and 12th, then you definitely have an edge.. So I'm gonna categorize this post in two categories:

Choosing a branch - Perspective matters!

This is, no doubt the toughest decision after your examinations.. I've been doing a research on this topic for quite a while now. So lets not waste any more time on nonsense introductions and useless talks. Let's just come to the point.
Students now a days are blindly following, not exploring! That's the problem. Its sad that the cream students of the country are not confident about their interests.. People posting here and there like what are the best options for me and I am like what the hell dude! Stop asking all these nonsense questions. Yeah, you may have a doubt when you are not getting your desired branch. The right way is to first of all talk to yourself and decide what interests you. Today everyone wants computer science. Ask yourself, is this your real interest or you are choosing it just because of high packages and big companies!

Should I take a drop to prepare for JEE!!

Well this post is for the ones' who are done with their boards, JEE and any other examinations. (If you haven't, then please get out! This post is not meant for you!)
Since you are reading this, it is quite obvious that your exams didn't go well.. And so, now you are thinking whether to take a drop or not. I know that you will get all types of diplomatic answers which have no use. I am gonna answer this my way! Also, I don't think any topper or teacher can answer this the way I can, because I've EXPERIENCED it. (If you don't know, I am a dropper who cleared JEE in second attempt)
So coming back to the question, should you take a drop or not! Actually you know the answer and what i'll do is basically dig it out! There are a lot of factors but today I'm going to cover every single one to help you decide right now!

JEE preparation for 12th ongoing students

CAUTION : This post is intended only for those students who have done nothing in their 11th. Those who are studying from 11th should continue their way.. Don't even look at this post..
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(If you haven't read my post on the tools and techniques, please read it here, otherwise this one's going to be of no use.)
So again I'll categorize this post in 3 categories:
[i]   For those who have just reached class 12th..
[ii]  For those who have wasted half of their 12th..
[iii] For those who have only 2-3 months left of their 12th..

A COMMON WORD OF ADVICE FOR ALL THE ABOVE CATEGORY STUDENTS :

First of all - NEVER REGRET FOR WASTING YOUR 11th.. YOU CAN STILL MAKE IT WITH HARDWORK AND DEDICATION.. Regret never solves anything.. Hardwork do!
Don't ignore your boards.. !! That said, I literally mean it. You won't get a second chance.

JEE preparation for 11th ongoing students

(If you haven't read my post on the tools and techniques, first read it here and then come to this one otherwise it'll be of no use.)

I'm going to categorize this post in three parts, that is
[I]    For those who have just reached class 11th.
[II]   For those who have wasted half of their 11th.
[III]  For those who have only 2-3 months left for 11th.
AND BEFORE YOU SCROLL DOWN, LISTEN, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHICH CATEGORY YOU BELONG OF THE ABOVE, YOU STILL HAVE A FAIRLY GOOD CHANCE OF CRACKING JEE.

BUT FIRST A COMMON ADVICE FOR EVERYONE OF THE ABOVE CATEGORIES:

The most ambiguous and probably the most doubtful subject is WHICH BOOK SHOULD I PREFER!!!

Preparation for JEE (Frost's style)

So here comes one of the most important posts that everyone look for.. But there's a catch - this post will be for everyone irrespective of the classes one is in.. It'll just introduce you to the tools, techniques and qualities one should possess while preparing for JEE.

Frost's style (yeah, that's me!) : Infinite type of techniques, propagandas, time tables, words of advise and what not you'll hear when it comes to the so called PREPARING FOR JEE, with a suffix that this technique won't work with all and you should devise your own and blah - blah - blah...
That's nonsense! I'm damn sure my style would definitely work with EACH AND EVERYONE irrspective of who are you. Believe me! The list contains tasks in decreasing order of difficulty.. Have a look!

#1 : (GOLDEN RULE) : IF YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE/ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING IN LIFE, START WAKING UP EARLY IN THE MORNING..

Above statement is not as simple as it looks.. Here achieve/accomplish anything, literally means ANYTHING. Whether you want to relieve a head ache or you want to become AIR-1.

My views about JEE (a bit different)

IIT : This college (as you might have heard of) is the dream destinations of innumerable (about 2 million - equal to some countries' population =D) students EVERY YEAR. And the path to this destination is called JEE.. No matter what, if you follow your interest while being at any IIT, you'll make it large..

So, coming to JEE- what basically in the world is this ??

The toughest examination, admission to IIT's, PCM blah, blah... everyone knows this..

A DIFFERENT ANSWER:  JEE is an oppurtunity for you to gain an achievement so grand which you never would have experienced it before (since you're still 17 or 18 or 19)..

** READ THIS FIRST**

Hello folks! If you are reading this, it is obvious that you are also an engineering aspirant who wish to join one of the premier educational institutes of India and need some motivation to kick start your preparation.
Well I'll try to help you.

About me :
I'm an 19 year old boy. You can call me Frost. And I AM A LOSER.. I took a drop after my 12th. Performed like sh*t in freshman year. The amount of failure I've endured during my preparation is HUGE. At last I ended up being an iitan and currently following my passion (that is my branch).

And always remember: 'FAILURE IS THE BEST TEACHER
